BLUE RIVER RESOURCES LTD. ANNOUNCES EXPLORATION PLANS FOR MAZAMA COPPER PROJECT
Vancouver, BC – June 7, 2013: Blue River Resources Ltd. ( TSX.V: BXR ) ("Blue River" or “the Company”) announces that Mr. Balbir Johal LL.B has been appointed to the board of directors of Blue River Resources Ltd., effective immediately.
Mr. Johal is currently the chairman of Pacific Potash Corporation. He has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer, specializing in global capital markets, exploration and resource development and corporate formation. He has served as a director of numerous public companies and founded the public entity of two major resource companies.
Mr Johal states “I look forward to being on the board of Blue River Resources Ltd. and assisting the Company in the development of the Mazama Copper Project.”
The Mazama Copper project is located approximately 25 km south of the Canadian / US border in North Central Washington, 143 km northeast of Seattle and 17 km northeast of the town of Winthrop.
Quintana Minerals Corp., in 1975, calculated an historical resource of 149 million tons grading 0.36% copper and 0.01% molybdenum on the Mazama project.
A qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources. Blue River is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources.
Management is currently finalizing the exploration and drilling plan for the Mazama Copper Project. Details of the Mazama exploration and drilling plan will be released shortly.
